The BCJ-5560 Platina Evolution Cubic BC is TUSA’s most fully-featured wrap-around style jacket. The Platina Evolution is ideal for any diver who desires high lift and a heavy-duty robust traditional style jacket. The BCJ-5560 offers TUSA patented features such as the Advanced Weight Loading System (A.W.L.S.), which permits easy weight loading and releasing, the Independent Harness System that significantly reduces weight and structure without sacrificing durability and performance, and the Ultimate Stabilizing Harness which has two separated rails to increase the tank’s security and prevent it from rolling. 3D Bladder Design
By adding one additional layer of thickness (a gusset) to the previous two-dimensional type (flat) air bag, a three-dimensional air back has been created and inner volume has been greatly increased. The benefit is a more compact design with greater buoyancy. Also, the BCJ-5560 uses a 1000 denier nylon for optimum strength and durability.
Waist Support System
The bottom of the shoulder straps can be attached in either of two positions which are appropriate to the conditions of use and the body type of the diver, thus improving the fit.
Advanced Weight Loading System (A.W.L.S.)
The A.W.L.S. allows the diver to insert weights into the weight-cartridges as well as into the loading pockets on the front of the jacket. Additionally, with weight distribution to the shoulder area, the weighed-down feeling that traditionally associated with weight belt is eliminated. 4kg/8lbs. (maximum: 6kg/12lbs.) of weight can be placed in each of the left and right sides, and two pockets on the rear of the jacket can each hold up to 2kg/4lbs. of additional weight. (Total recommended weight: 10kg/20lbs.; maximum: 16kg/32lbs.) The weight cartridge is easy to release in an emergency, but the safety lock makes sure that it is not released accidentally.
